The Phantom Inklinks project has begun. It's a personal website that I'll be using as a portfolio and (much as I truly despise the word) blog.

In the past, I used my webspace for a lot of stuff. I taught some people how to draw, and I told others about how much I like anime (something that I still get teased about to this day). At the same time, I learned a lot about building webpages.

I took some web-design classes in High School and eventually college that have helped me create more complex aesthetically-pleasing layouts (I mostly attribute the aesthetics to various art and design classes).

My original plan was to do web design professionally. I've come to realize that web design is really just a means to an end. All I really ever wanted was to become a professional artist, getting paid to do what I love.

Which brings us to today, where I furiously type away to tell you all about this whole thing. I will be sharing my experiences with art, from sketches to completed pieces and whatever else I can come up with. Enjoy.
